Terms of Use (Interim)
These are interim terms for the Collective Source pilot. They will be replaced by full terms prepared by The Marketing Collective’s lawyers, and you will be asked to accept the new version when it arrives. Continued use after that means the new terms apply.

Who we are
Collective Source is provided by The Marketing Collective (Marijke Timmers), based in New Zealand, as part of your Mentorship programme. The platform is built and operated on our behalf by dreamstorm (Lian Passmore). If you have any questions about these terms, contact admin@marijketimmers.com.
What the pilot is
You are part of a small invited pilot. That means:
- The platform is new and still being refined. Things will occasionally be imperfect, and your feedback is part of the point.
- Features may change, be added or be removed during the pilot, and we may need short periods of downtime to make improvements.
- The platform is provided as-is during the pilot. We will always act quickly on problems, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability.
- Your access is personal to you as a pilot participant. Please don’t share your login with anyone else.
Your content and your outputs
- Everything you upload stays yours. Your brand documents, your strategy, your customers’ words: they remain your property and your confidential information.
- The marketing content the platform helps you create is yours to use for your business, freely.
- The Marketing Collective’s method, frameworks, templates and the platform itself remain The Marketing Collective’s intellectual property. Being able to use them here doesn’t grant a licence to copy, extract or share them outside the platform.
AI, honestly
The platform drafts content with you using artificial intelligence, grounded in your own brand documents and The Marketing Collective’s method. Two things follow from that:
- You are the reviewer. AI-drafted content should always get your eyes before it goes anywhere public. The platform is designed around you refining and approving, not publishing blind.
- It can be wrong. Where the platform doesn’t have information, it is built to say so rather than invent, but you should still check facts, names and figures in anything you publish.
What not to upload
Please don’t upload:
- Health information about anyone, or anything a client told you in confidence
- Content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights
- Other people’s personal information beyond what you genuinely need for your marketing (customer quotes and testimonials you have permission to use are fine)
If you’re unsure whether something belongs in the platform, ask before uploading.
Fair use
The platform runs on paid AI services. Use it as much as your marketing genuinely needs; automated, bulk or resale use isn’t what the pilot is for and isn’t permitted.
Liability, in plain terms
During the pilot, The Marketing Collective and dreamstorm are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the platform or from content it helps produce, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the platform during the pilot. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies.
Ending participation
You can stop using the platform at any time, and you can ask for everything we hold about you to be removed. Some of that you can do yourself and some of it we do by hand; the Privacy Notice sets out exactly which is which. We may pause or end pilot access if these terms are seriously breached, and we’d talk to you before doing that except in extreme cases.
Changes
These interim terms stand until the full terms arrive. When they do, you’ll be shown what’s changed and asked to accept before continuing.
