Collective Source pilot

Privacy Notice (Interim)

This is an interim notice for the Collective Source pilot. It describes, in plain language, exactly what happens with your information today. Our lawyers are preparing the full privacy policy, and we’ll ask you to accept that version once it’s ready.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Who looks after your information

The Marketing Collective (Marijke Timmers), New Zealand, decides how and why your information is used here. dreamstorm (Lian Passmore) builds and runs the platform for us. For anything in this notice, email admin@marijketimmers.com.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address, login records, and a record of which version of these documents you accepted and when.
  • Your brand material: the documents, text and images you add to your Brand Hub, including your customers’ words where you choose to include them.
  • Your work in the platform: campaign conversations, briefs, drafts, saved content and exports.
  • Your results: the marketing figures, screenshots and commentary you add to Marketing Performance.
  • Your feedback: anything you send through the feedback button or the short in-platform questions, along with the page you were on.
  • How the platform runs: technical records of your use of it. Which parts ran and when, how much AI work each step took, anything that failed, and when someone on our side opened your workspace to help you. These are counts, timestamps and references only. They never include what you wrote, what the platform wrote alongside you, or anything from your documents.

We deliberately don’t ask for identifiable lead or client data, health information, or anything a client shared with you in confidence, and we ask you not to upload it.

What we use it for

Mainly one thing: helping you build your marketing with The Marketing Collective’s method. Your brand material grounds what the platform writes alongside you. Your results shape your recommendations. Your feedback makes the platform better through the pilot.

The technical records are the exception, and they are used only to run the platform: to see that it is working, to fix what isn’t, and to understand what it costs us to run.

Unless we specifically agree separately, your information is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.

Who can see it

  • You. Your workspace is yours. Other members can never see your brand hub, results or campaign inputs or outputs.
  • Marijke and The Marketing Collective Specialists where it supports your mentoring: your readiness reviews and how you’re progressing.
  • Lian (dreamstorm), who runs the platform, for support and fixing problems.
  • Pilot feedback stays with Marijke and Lian. Other members never see it.

The services that keep the platform running

Like almost every online service, the platform runs on established providers. Each one holds only what its job needs:

  • Supabase stores the platform's database and files (currently on servers in Singapore, moving to Sydney).
  • Vercel runs the application on its infrastructure in Sydney, and is a United States company.
  • Anthropic provides the AI that helps draft your content (United States). Your material is sent to it to do that work, and is not used to train its models.
  • Resend delivers the platform's emails (United States).

You’ll always find a current description of how your information is stored and processed at the “how we store and process your answers” link inside the platform.

How long we keep it

Through the pilot, we keep your information for as long as you’re taking part. If you leave the programme, we delete it after a short wind-down period, which we’ll confirm in the full policy. You can ask us to delete it straight away at any time.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and any overseas privacy law that applies to you, you can:

  • See it: ask for a copy of everything the platform holds about you. We can export it all in one archive.
  • Fix it: correct anything that’s wrong. You can also replace or edit anything in your Brand Hub yourself, any time.
  • Delete it: ask us to permanently remove your account and everything in it.

Email admin@marijketimmers.com for any of these, and we’ll act promptly.

If something goes wrong

If we become aware of a privacy breach that could seriously harm you, we’ll tell you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner promptly. We’ll tell you plainly what happened, and what we’re doing about it.
